Estamos buscando voluntarios que quieran asistir durante el taller informativo, Abrazando Comunidades que LCA estará llevando acabo en colaboración con The Ford Family Foundation en Madras. Abrazando Comunidades es un taller anual para los pueblos rurales del Estado de Oregón. En este taller los participantes tienen la oportunidad de aprender habilidades para mejorar sus pueblos. También es una oportunidad para reunirnos y celebrar en comunidad con presentaciones especiales. Este año contamos con la presencia de Pepe Moscoso y Juliana Posada para inspirarnos.
Necesitaremos ayuda en las siguientes areas:
- Repartir los volantes para el evento en el area de Madras varios días antes de la fecha del evento.
- Para la configuración antes del evento. Acomodar sillas, mesas, y los refrigerios.
- En el area de registro de la entrada - asegurándose que las personas que lleguen se registren o verificar que ya estén registradas (proveeremos una lista con los nombres de las personas que se registren antes del evento).
- Durante el evento - asegurándose que los participantes tengan lo necesario y ofrecer refrigerios.
- Para limpiar después del evento.

We are looking for interested volunteers who would like to volunteer during the informative workshop, Abrazando Comunidades that LCA will be hosting in collaboration with The Ford Family Foundation in Madras. Abrazando Comunidades is an annual workshop aim to the State of Oregon's rural towns. During this workshop participants have the opportunity to learn skills that will guide them to improve their towns. This is also a great opportunity to get together and celebrate in community. This year our guests are Pepe Moscoso and Juliana Posada to inspire us with their talks.
We will need help in the following areas:
- Distribute flyers in the Madras area prior the date of the event.
- Set up before the event. Arranging tables, chairs, and snacks.
- Check-in table - making sure that attendees sign in or verifying that they are already registered (we will provide a list with the names of people who have registered prior the event).
- During the event - making sure that participants have what they may need during the event and offer them refreshments.
- Clean up after the event.
