Latino Fest is LCA's largest cultural event of the year where we celebrate and honor the Latino cultures that make up our diverse Central Oregon communities. Every year the festival is held in Madras, OR at Sahalee Park. There are live performances, including a band, cultural dancers, local performers, and so much more! There will also be food trucks, community partners, cultural booths, raffles, pinatas, and so many more activities for families with kids of all ages.
Volunteers are needed to oversee the cleanliness of the location by picking up trash during the Latino Fest event.
We ask that you please wear closed-toed shoes (i.e. sneakers or boots), socks (must have on to enter any of the inflatables), as well as comfortable clothing that you don’t mind getting dirty. We strongly recommend bringing sunscreen with you and reapply throughout your shift.
Lunch will be provided in the volunteer tent.
