Welcoming Market is a celebration of multicultural expression and the opening event to the series of Welcoming Program events. It will be held on Thursday, September 10th, from 6:00 PM-8:00 PM in our Bend office.
LCA is looking for volunteers who can help with Welcoming Market in Bend. We are in need of volunteers who can help set up for the event, promote LCA and other vendors at the event and help with the breakdown/ cleaning up after the event.
We are looking for volunteers who can:
Set-up from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM: Prepare the space, setting up lights, hanging flags, poles, tables, chairs, tents, decorations, extension cables, etc.
Help run the event as directed from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM: Welcoming, greeting, hosting, directions, tabling, etc.
Break-down from 8:00 PM to 9:30 PM: Cleaning-up, breaking down tables, throwing away trash, helping vendors load their cars, etc.
Be reliable, welcoming, and respectful of our community members
Each area above will be in (approximately) 2 hr shifts starting at 4:00 PM and ending around 9:30 PM.
