We are looking for volunteers in Bend, Redmond, Madras and Prineville who are committed to helping individuals prepare for the naturalization process by providing essential information about U.S. history, government and the application process itself.

Our Citizenship classes are designed to guide aspiring citizens through the process, covering everything from application details to preparing for the civics test and interview. 

As an instructor or assistant, you will be trained and given the materials needed to lead each class.

Class times are yet to be determined.

Nuestras clases de ciudadanía están diseñadas para guiar a los aspirantes a ciudadanos a través del proceso, cubriendo todo, desde los detalles de la solicitud hasta la preparación para el examen y la entrevista de educación cívica.

We are in need of Citizenship tutors in Bend and Redmond for our students who have just started taking LCA's Citizenship classes in Bend. 

Bilingual people (English-Spanish) sometimes preferred, but not necessary. The time commitment is 1 - 2 hours per week and you can set a day and time that works best for you and our students. You are welcome to use our office or select another location to meet.

Training and study materials provided.

Training includes:

Learning the nuances of the N-400 Application in order to help others on their path to citizenship Becoming familiar with the USCIS Civics Interview questions and learn how to explain them to others

A veces se prefieren personas bilingües (español-inglés), pero no es necesario. Alrededor de 1 - 2 horas por semana.

Ayude a alguien a prepararse para el examen de ciudadanía. Materiales de formación y estudio proporcionados.

El entrenamiento incluye:

Aprender los matices de la solicitud N-400 para ayudar a otros en su camino hacia la ciudadanía Familiarizarse con las preguntas de la entrevista de educación cívica de USCIS y aprender a explicárselas a los demás

Volunteers will provide real-time information, support impacted community members, and mobilize in protest when necessary.
